Things that have been interesting the Kids lately: T and I are BFFS when we be ridin' our pimpin' bikes. Lady Gaga is a genius. And Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire never ceases to amaze T (and I'll admit, me too).

Can you imagine someone taking away a puppy from you at the mere age of fourteen? Let me tell you the tale of Marie Antoinette. She was the last Queen of France. From being a fashion icon to being decapitated, Antoine' was a very complex young woman. If you're wondering why I'm such a cornucopia of knowledge on Marie Antoinette, I will tell you where I get my info. Jesse's Kids recently watched the movie Marie Antoinette, based on the book Marie Antoinette: The Journey by Antonia Fraser(which I also read). I very much recommend the movie if your'e looking for a modern-esque version of the tale of a timeless queen.

ART CLASS

T and I had our first after school at class together! We did charcoal. It was kinda fun. T is just such a natural artist; he just breezed through any assignment our Cubana spanish teacher gave us. So from now on we will be going to art class EVERY Thursday. Got it, T? Well peace out. Have a great weekend, loves. I know I will be ;P bbbahahahahhhaaa

Sick Days

Wow I am SO boredd. And sick of being sick.

While T and I were on our bike ride a week ago, we stopped by our friend Kathleen to see her at her work. She made us a picture! With stencils. On the back of a menu. How great is that?!

Oh yes. And isn't my puppy so cute!?

University of Miami

This weekend I went on a college visit to UM with a few of my friends. It had the usual run down of a typical college tour, except for our tour guide... I can't remember his actual name, but my one friend endearingly referred to him as "cargo pants" because that seemed to be the only type of clothing this species of college sophomore would have in his wardrobe, besides UM paraphernalia, and Harry Potter fan club merchandise.
Cargo Pants had mentioned to us early on that he was a huge sports fanatic, which seemed to be a fairly normal interest, until we reached the football field and he elaborated on his hobbies. Yes, you guessed it, Cargo Pants was an actual Muggle Quidditch referee. And he was a dedicated member of the astronomy club. I know what you're thinking, he's got the total package...and you know what? You're right.
Guess what school I will be attending in 2012...

Hello everyone! last week D, A, and I had the pleasure of having Kathleen and Ashleigh over for some brownies and some movie. We watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off, a.k.a one of the best films of all time. Well exams are finally over! Now to begin the dreaded third quarter. Well I hope you all have a great long weekend.

Well, today is Tuesday. Quick little history lesson, the Greek find tuesday to be an unlucky day, however, in the Jewish/Christian culture it is considered lucky because on the second day (tuesday) of creation, the phrase "...and it was good" was used twice. I got photoshop today. I'm still figuring out all the effects. Trying it out on T and I's day which was so fun. Have a good what's rest of the weekend!

"A Sea of Goldfish"

Okay, so it's T. The other day, my friend and I were eating in the library, which in not necessarily allowed. We were in there partially to study and partially to feel rebellious. One of our teachers walked in as my friend was talking about him, saying, "He's too old to hear us, we'll be fine." I'm pretty sure he heard. He asked us if we had permission to be eating in the library, and we said yes. My friend then dropped a gold fish on the floor and my teacher said, "Make sure you pick that up, because if you don't, pretty soon there will be a sea of goldfish all over the library!" he then started laughing hysterically, and we managed a smile. And that, sadly, was the highlight of my semester-exam-filled-day!

Spinning & Things

Hey everyone, it's T. So yesterday I went to the gym, and I took a spin class. For those not familiar to spin class, it's just an insanely difficult biking class! I'm going to try to go more often though, I just need to make a playlist that really pumps me up! Well D and I are going on an incredibly long bike ride on Saturday (D, your'e not bailing). We're going to visit A at her new job as a barista!

FIRST POST OF 2011

OMG. It's 2011... so cray-zay!! Well. It's been a good year. 2010 was swell but I'm psyched for this year. It's gonna be ballinnn! As our 67th post, I think we have done well, Jesse's Kids. But i think our blog is heading in a different direction.... not a bad one. Just different. And I'm excited. Happy new year everyone. Cheers. xD
